What Is A Fedora Hat Style

 A fedora is a hat with a pinch-front teardrop-shaped crown.

It is typically creased lengthwise down the crown and "pinched" near the front on both sides. Fedoras can also be

creased with teardrop crowns, diamond crowns, center dents, and others, and the positioning of pinches can vary.

The edges of fedora hats are generally divided into cavanagh edge, raw-edged, stitched edge, and pencil brim edges.

Fedora hat brim is generally divided into small brim, medium brim, and wide brim. The fedora hat's brim is usually

around 2.5 inches (6.4 cm) wide but can be wider, like 8cm or 10cm. Fedora hats are not to be confused with

small-brimmed hats called trilbies.

Fedoras can be made of wool, cashmere, rabbit or beaver felt. These felts can also be blended material, like mink or chinchilla.

They can also be made of straw, cotton, waxed or oiled cotton, hemp, linen, or leather.

Fedoras can be lined or unlined and have a leather, cloth, or ribbon sweatband.

Small feathers, belts,  and bow ribbons are sometimes added as decoration.
